Back from me holidays

Hi all. Jim here by the way. Yes yes, I just came back from a place, somewhere in Asia. Okay, I cut the suspense. I went to Hong Kong actually. So, here are some of the highlights.
.

.
Alright. Guess where this is? Hehe, If you are guessing Pooh's house, you are ABSOLUTELY wrong...No la, how on earth can I even enter his house. So sticky and honey-ish. Speaking of sticky, I got a riddle for you.
.
" What is long, brown and sticky? "
.
If you are thinking about shit, you are wrong. It's a long brown stick. Haha. Okay, back to the pooh thing.
.
So, yea, where was I ? Yes. This is Hong Kong Disneyland!!! I myseld would never imagine that I will one day come to a Disneyland. Really. I thought I will never be. Considering my age. The big '20'. haha, I had fun. The rides are nice. So many nice things to see and to enjoy. Of course, you pockets will burn, as in, you spend a lot, but it was worth it la. All the way to Hong Kong, and seeing spectacular and 'magical' stuff. The last and closing act given by Disneyland was superb. It was a 15 minute fireworks display. It was breath taking. It was really breath taking. It was bright but was superb. You should had seen it. It was the most spectacular and beautiful firework display I had ever seen so far, other than the Beijing Olympics. It was breath taking I tell ya.
.

.
Then, I was in China, Shen Zhen. I was at the cultural village like place. To simply put it, it's like a place where you can see miniature stuff, like a mini Great Wall of China, mini Fobidden Palace...etc. Yea. And this picture, I hold a pagoda in my hand, hahaha.
.

I wonder whether this 'great wall' will break if I push harder.
.

Then, I was in Macau. Yes, 3 countries. This is the Venetian. It's a casino, hotel, shopping place. 3 in one, like 3 in one coffee. They built it in such a way that it looks like Venice. Well, not bad but still, the real Venice is better. (of course la) Behind me is the Grand Canal, where they have this little boats you can sit on and the rest, you should know.
.

The ruins of St. Paul . This is 'the' place to be. If you had never been here, you had never been to Macau. This used to be a church. Somewhere long long time ago, before the ayam bertelur, the taifun came and destroyed the church. Most of the church was destroyed, leaving only this. This is what was left. This church was actually built by the Japanese when they were in Macau. If you look carefully, you can see Jesus, mother Mary, the cross, and , surprisingly, a dragon. Ya, built by the Japs what...Interesting eh..hehe.
.
Well, that's my trip basically. It was more of like a sight seeing trip la. Learnt a lot of things about Hong Kong, Macau and China of course. Ya, I get to here the Chinese chinese and the Hong Kong cantonese. The cantonese does have a significant difference than the ones spoken here in Malaysia. Really. Then, I also learnt that I understand mandarin more than cantonese. Oh ya, I was going through immigration many thousands of time still I was a little reluctant to go through it. Well, although Hong Kong and Macau are under China, they still need immigration. Do not ask me why. It's just like that.
.
Some of other things that I learnt:
1. air polution...
2.people smoke alot over there...a lot!
3. RM 1 = HK$ 2
4.Macau airport is just by the sea
5.Do you know that one of the official language for Macau is Portuguese?
6.Macau has 28 casinos. 5 more coming.
.
Yup yup. That's all about it la. Nothing much but was interesting in a way that I learnt a lot of things, about the place. Nice. Alright. That's all. Tata. Take care everyone. Will try to update this blog more often ...hehe.
